Really beautiful glade of Spruce trees at the top of Unaka Mountain. If only the AT could be like this all the time.
Old apple orchard with really tall apple trees. Interesting mix of red and green apples. Alas, the trees were surrounded by Stinging Nettles, so I didn't get to sample the apples.
