A day of Nobo slack packing. And the right leg felt better than usual; the Zero yesterday probably helped, too.
Alas, today was cloudy, so no views from Big Bald, which is a mecca for birdwatchers who volunteer to catch and band a lot of migratory birds on the bald.
This is the way they snare the birds--with netting, here shown rolled up. What surprised me was that the netting was in the trees and bushes. For some reason, I thought it would be in the open areas of the bald.
Another interesting set-up--using a bobbing head owl to scare other birds into the nets?
